The short shell from RMFB, one of the first companies to use GORE-TEX® fabric as early as the 1970s.

■GORE-TEX® material
RMFB has been using GORE-TEX®, the breathable waterproof material developed in 1969, since as early as the 1970s. This item gives the old American old West design concept modern design sense, passing the strict GORE-TEX® specs to offer an even more comfortable and high tech jacket.

■Washable leather
The vintage parkas are fitted with leather with a natural finish just like the down vests. But because they are made to be used as rainwear, they use washable leather to cut water stains and allow washing.

■Classic detail
The main material is spun-like nylon tussah, used for that classical outdoor clothing look. The brass snap fasteners used on this jacket are a rare sight today. Also, these vests follow the original design tradition of the old American West with attention lavished even on the fine details like the patterned collar label tape often seen in classic outdoor wear.

■Attention to detail
The large collar that completely covers the neck area contains its own hood. This hood is also completely made from GORE-TEX® material, giving secure protection even against sudden downpours.
