A company that originally made Kimono in the Edo-era began making Kyoto Denim in 2008.
Each denim, by the works of Designer Toyoaki Kuwayama and the Kimono artisan, is made individually by hand. All are utilized with traditional kimono dye producing the newest modern denim.
